Honoring Your Ancestors | A Workshop on Ancestral Veneration with Shosh

Join Shosh (they/them) of The Otherworldly Archive for this special 2-hour in-depth class on ancestral veneration and creating a relationship with passed loved ones. This class covers where to begin, what to consider, how to set up a sacred altar space, and how to give offerings.

The goal is to make this practice simple and accessible, while also acknowledging the significance and depth of this journey. The class ends with a guided practice together, bringing the lesson to life. Participants will leave with practical resources and a greater confidence in their abilities to call ancestors in.

This class follows a decolonial and land-based framework. We will cover the concept of benefic and harmful ancestors, and how to approach this work with care. More about Shosh:
